AZ AHEC Advisory Commission
The Arizona AHEC Director consults regularly with the Arizona AHEC Advisory Commission, whose appointed members represent health educators, health professionals, and community members serving and/or living in rural and medically underserved communities throughout Arizona.
Az AHEC Commission Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the following months:
- August
- November (held on third Thursday due to holiday)
- February
- May
Each AHEC regional center has its own appointed governing board, comprised of healthcare providers and consumers who reflect the diversity of the populations living within that center's geographic area. Additionally, the President (or equivalent) of each regional center's board serves as an ex-officio on the Arizona AHEC Advisory Commission.
